Kerber's Farm, established in 1941, is a landmark farm on Long Island's Gold Coast and only a 55 minute drive from Manhattan. Kerber's Farm is a destination for families and offers a market and pie shop, and serves breakfast and lunch as well. Kerber's has become known for their amazing homemade pies, using all butter crusts and never any shortening. The Farm's homemade cheddar buttermilk biscuit is also very popular for a morning egg sandwich. Kerber's Farm is also Huntington's last remaining road-side farm stand and and sells a variety of organic and local fruits and vegetables. There are also chickens for kids to see and a beautiful outdoor seating area. Kerber's evolves with the seasons and is a great place to stop in the warmer months for the best lobster roll around; or in the fall you can find cider, apples, pies, and pumpkins. Kerber's Farm was founded in 1941 by Peter Kerber and was restored and reopened in 2013 by Nick Voulgaris III.

Business Owner

Nick Voulgaris III is an entrepreneur, writer, and avid sailor and is passionate about food and historic preservation.  He has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality business and purchased Kerber's Farm in 2013; which was the perfect outlet for his creativity both in the food arena as well as with design restoration.  Since Kerber's farm has approximately 10 buildings and barns on the property; he certainly has an abundant canvas to work with. Other recent projects include writing Kerber's Farm Cookbook: A Year's Worth Of Seasonal Farm Cooking. Published by Rizzoli New York, this cookbook celebrates a year's worth of seasonally inspired recipes, interwoven with the history of Kerber's Farm. Nick lives in Manhattan and Oyster Bay, NY with his English Labrador Frankie.
