We are a gourmet waffles and coffee cafe, situated in the heart of downtown Ballston Spa, NY. Our atmosphere is casual and comfortable for all to enjoy. Our menu boasts a variety of breakfast and lunch offerings. In addition, we also serve homemade baked goods and delicious, locally-roasted coffee. Iron Roost is Wi-Fi enabled, family-friendly, handicapped accessible, and provides extensive gluten-free and vegan options upon request.

History

Established in 2012.

Iron Roost was established in the spring of 2012. The menu is a unique offering of both breakfast and lunch, all centralized around the waffle theme. We love thinking outside of the box, so we strive to offer daily specials that let us get creative with waffles to keep our offerings fresh and exciting. We hope that makes it exciting for our customers too!

Business Owner

Linnaea comes from a creative background. Her passions are design, food, and entertaining. Iron Roost has provided a platform for her to showcase all three loves in one place. She strives to be unique and offer a comfortable space for all walks of life to enjoy. She defines her cafe as an extension of her home, and treats each and every person who walks through the front door as a personal guest.Her professional history started with receiving a fine arts degree in graphic design from the University of Buffalo. Since graduating, she has held 3 design positions, most recently with a content marketing company named McMurry, based in Saratoga Springs, NY. After 7 years with McMurry, Linnaea decided to make and entrepreneurial move to become a restaurant owner.Born and raised in the local area, and now a Ballston Spa resident of 20 years. She has made Ballston Spa her permanent home and continues to help the development of the village.
