History

The gardens at Harvest-On-Hudson, on the waterfront in Hastings-on-Hudson, lay quietly under a foot of still-falling snow at noon on a Friday. Inside the restaurant, modeled on a Tuscan farmhouse, snowy light pours in from the river and a soft buzz of activity emanates from the bar and behind the swinging kitchen doors as the staff of this Westchester favorite makes ready for the day. Executive Chef Vincent Barcelona, along with owners Bruce Bernacchia and Angelo Liberatore, gather in comfortable armchairs in the open lounge to talk about their vision for the restaurant and how they--and their staff--go about manifesting that vision.
