History

Established in 1987.

For over 35 years the Kane family has been serving Lake Placid one of the best dining experiences. Previously known as the Great Adirondack Steak and Seafood Co., the remodeled and renamed restaurant, Great Adirondack Brewing Company, showcases an extensive brunch, lunch, and dinner menu as well as award-winning ales from our on-site brewery. Overlooking Mirror Lake, we're also great for family dining in Lake Placid.

My wife Nancy, myself and our kids have been involved with our restaurant since the opening in 1987.  We have been involved in all aspects of this operation to include the latest re-model and re-branding. Previously known as the Great Adirondack Steak and Seafood Company., the newly remodeled and renamed restaurant, Great Adirondack Brewing Co. is what we are today. We still continue to serve many of the old specialties, along with new menu items. Our brewing operation continues to produce award winning ales.
