Cebu is a New American Bistro that focuses on seasonal ingredients, and classic bistro fare. We would encourage all of our guests to inform us if their meal was not perfect. Leaving the restaurant and going home to write on Yelp doesn't allow us to remedy the problem. We love our guests and have been serving the Bay Ridge community for almost two decades, let us take care of you while you are here. we all have an off day, so let us wright any wrong - peace and love

History

Established in 2001.

Bay Ridge natives, Ted Nugent and Michael Esposito teamed up with Gerard Piccairelli in hopes to provide Bay Ridge with an alternative late night place to dine. We opened the doors in 2001 serving our full menu till 3am. It was an immediate late night haute. Midnight hours immediately took shape and late night eaters were digging into juicy over sized burgers, zuppa di mussels, fried calamari, steak skewers and heavy on the hand poured cocktails. As time passed, Cebu made its way into the normal dining community hours and opened it's doors for brunch as well. We expanded our size in 2009, adding an additional 100 seats, a lounge area with a fireplace and a smaller more intimate bar. We love Brooklyn, especially Bay Ridge

Ted started out waitering and bartending in Brooklyn over 2 decades ago and opened his first spot, Muses Cafe back in 1997. After closing his first location after 9 successful years, he and his partner Michael Esposito have been part of opening over 16 other locations throughout Brooklyn and Staten Island.He is the proud co-owner of:Cebu Bar & Bistro, Bay Ridge, 2002..The Richmond, Staten Island, 2018The Belvedere Club, Staten Island, NY 2019
