History

Established in 2015.

Black Tap was born in downtown New York City: Soho, 2015. We opened our first 15-seat joint with one goal in mind: To serve great burgers, beers and shakes in an upbeat setting with a New York vibe all its own. We started simply. Our take on burgers: upscale but not fussed-up, our award-winning burgers have received mad respect in a short amount of time. Then came our whimsical, over-the-top CrazyShake® milkshakes. The burgers got noticed and the CrazyShake® milkshakes lit up the Internet. We've since expanded from Soho to locations in Midtown NYC, California and Vegas. Also Europe, Asia and the Middle East. And every Black Tap still keeps it real. With old-school tunes. Our signature downtown décor.
