History

Established in 2009.

The Independent opens its doors in the burgeoning Seminole Heights neighborhood in October 2009, becoming the first craft beer bar in the neighborhood. "The Indie," as it is endearingly referred to, has become a top neighborhood hangout and continues to attract people from all over Tampa Bay and elsewhere.
