Serving fresh shucked, cold water, bluepoint oysters, steamed littleneck clams from the pristine water off Cape Cod, and a signature recipe seafood stew! Spoto's Oyster Bar features fresh yellowtail snapper with caramelized sweet onions, sesame seared yellowfin tuna, bouillabaisse, and "New Orleans" style crab cakes. Our philosophy is fine fun dining seafood, serving "good for the soul" food. In addition, Spoto's offers over 30 bottle and draft beers, specialty cocktails and martinis, and an extensive and affordable wine list. We look forward to providing you with an outstanding dining experience.

History

Established in 1997.

My sister Ellen and I opened our first restaurant, Spoto's Oyster Bar, in downtown West Palm Beach, Fl. after 23 years of working in the restaurant industry. In 2003, we opened our second Spoto's Oyster Bar on PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. We have been consistently recognized as an "excellent" restaurant in the Zagat Survey, voted on by our local guest following. Our food philosophy is to always use recipes that enhance the flavor of our quality seafood, not mask it.

Ellen Daly's career began at McDonald' in 1978, working all positions while attending college.  After graduating from the University of South Florida in 1981, Ellen went to work for Chi Chi's Mexican Restaurant in Pinellas Park as an Assistant Manager.  In 1986 Ellen and John Spoto (brother) joined forces at Charley's Crab in Palm Beach.   John, then the General Manager of Charley's, was in need of a Sous Chef and Ellen was the perfect fit, where she became Chef, AGM and General Manager.  In December of 1997, Spoto's Oyster Bar was born and Ellen came aboard in '98.  Our Palm Beach Gardens location opened it's doors in 2003 where Ellen is currently the Managing Partner.
