From a young age, I have a dream opening cultural restaurant, and after a lot of hard work and commitment, that dream now come true. Selam Ethiopian and Eritrean Cusine opened in 2018.

Business Owner

The word Selam is an Amharic word which means Peace. And the last 20 years Eritrean and Ethiopian were at war and so many families were affected by this. It was always my dreamt that these two brotherly nations reconcile together. That's why I named my first restaurant as Selam Ethiopian and Eritrean Cusine. We opened our place on May 27, 2018. And right now Eritrea and Ethiopia declared the end of the war. And the best is yet to come!
