Lee & Ricks Oyster Bar specializes in Apalachicola Oysters! Our oysters are individually shucked for your entertainment, as well as assurance of their freshness. You can have them raw or steamed from lightly to well done.

History

Established in 1950.

Lee and Ricks opened in 1950 as a 9 stool establishment which only served oysters. Lee and Rick ran the resturant out front and raised their family in the back portion, which served as there home. Beverages consisted of whatever you brought in to drink, which Lee kept cold for you in the ice box. Lee and Rick's was the first resturant of its kind to open in central florida. Rick, being a sailor had seen Oyster Bars in his travels around the coast of Florida and especially in the Panhandle. The resturant was an instant success and just through word of mouth, quickly became know as "The Only Place",for fresh oysters. Today Lee and Ricks is owned and operated be Lee & Ricks eldest son and his family.The simple, casual atmosphere, and the tradition of friendly personalized service has grown to accomodate more people, and the menu has expanded to include a variety of fresh seafood.
