Established in 2018.

The story of La Chula Authentic Mexican Cuisine begins in the summer of 2018, when entrepreneurs Mosella & Fred Gray opened the first La Chula Authentic Mexican Cuisine restaurant in Cooper City, Florida. Our founders' goal was simple. To open a restaurant serving delicious, made-from-scratch Mexican food, as well as to create a place where guests of all ages could come together to experience the unique flavors, along with the art and culture of Mexico. What came to life was a truly unique dining experience - authentic tastes of Mexico, with family-style dining in an elevated, yet comfortable setting. La Chula Authentic Mexican Cuisine is designed as an open-air Mexican courtyard with a mix of both modern and traditional Mexican decor. We are passionate about our made-from-scratch dishes, each one made from the heart and crafted with pride from Mary & Ricardo's family recipes.

Fred has had a passion for food and service since his early years. Fred graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and has excelled in international corporate environments, performing in cross-functional roles –such as customer service, PR, marketing, finance, and accounting. His talent in creating a quality guest experience contributed to his successes and ultimately the transition to La Chula - Authentic Mexican Cuisine’s team as one of the Restaurant Operations Manager. Fred dreamed of building ``the finest dining experience`` by combining his extensive experience into La Chula - Authentic Mexican Cuisine. Fred's commitment to the team and guests is evident, as he ensures a high level of customer service as the standard.
