Through hard work on the farm, we produce honest, healthy, sustainable, ground to glass products served in a comfortable, family environment.

History

Established in 2003.

The Keel & Curley Winery and Restaurant was started in spring of 2003 in the kitchen of founder and owner, Joe Keel. Keel, a central Florida blueberry farmer, wanted to find something to do with his end of crop blueberries. He decided blueberry wine would be interesting and dabbled with his creation in the family farm house kitchen. He started that spring of 2003 with 10 gallons of blueberry wine. Each batch was improved until it turned into the unique and charming flavors that Keel & Curley Winery is known for today.

Keel and Curley Winery started in the spring of 2003 in the farmhouse of our founder, Joe Keel. After some trial and error, Joe mastered the blueberry wines and started selling his bottled creations. The three blueberry wines, sweet, semi-dry, and dry, are Keel and Curley's original classic wines. Later, Keel and Curley expanded its product line adding in fruit fusion wine and 100% grape wines. Today, Keel and Curley Winery has over a dozen wines and an ever growing business. Keel and Curley Wines can also be found in several retailers throughout Florida including Publix, Total Wines and Liquor, ABC Liquor, and select Wal-Mart stores.In 2018, Clay Keel took over the company from his father and transitioned it to a younger, more family-friendly brand with core principles of quality, sustainability, and community.
