Taking first class service from the air to the runway, our wait staff treats every guest of Jet Runway Café with the same detail to attention and attentiveness as a first class flyer. Swing open the cockpit doors and experience expansive views of private jets poised for take-off, industrial architecture, and a state of the art open kitchen...this is Jet Runway Café.

History

Established in 2008.

What started as a lifelong friendship, turned into a lifelong partnership. Mitch Amsterdam and Mike Linder became pioneers of the private jet catering industry in 2001 with Silver Lining Inflight Catering, their round the clock aviation concierge business, providing a first class experience for worldwide jet travel. Seven years ago, the duo was looking for a new venture and opened one of South Florida's most unique restaurant venues, Jet Runway Café, located on the tarmac at FXE Airport in Fort Lauderdale. A destination unto itself, The Café has earned rave reviews as the lines out the door can attest. Jet Runway Café has been called "one of the best lunch spots" in Fort Lauderdale by the Sun Sentinel and a "hidden gem" by New Times. Since the doors have opened in 2008, Jet Runway Café serves as an exquisite event venue available for private functions much like its next-door airplane hangar. His attention to detail, whether it be the food presentation or decor, sets him apart. He is dedicated to creating an experience for every person who walks through the door.
