Indochine (Indo sheen) provides casual dining in a relaxed modern atmosphere. We are Southeast Asian cuisine, focusing mainly on Thai, while also offering sushi. We offer a full bar with Asian inspired cocktails and a wine list selected to pair well with the flavorful fare. We're open for lunch and dinner.

History

Established in 2010.

The partners of Indochine: Mark Salter, Ladda Salter and Susie Sysouvanh have all had long careers in the bar/restaurant industry and wanted to create a place that was simple; good food and drinks, a warm inviting atmosphere and affordable prices. The name Indochine (Indo sheen) refers to the old French colonial empire of Southeast Asia, including Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. Indochine was also under Japanese occupation in 1941-42. Our menu reflects this. As long time residents of Jacksonville we decided to open our doors in the heart of Downtown to support and expand the city's urban infrastructure.
