History

Established in 2008.

Located in downtown High Springs, Florida The Great Outdoors Restaurant has restored the elegance of High Springs original 1895 Opera House. We fell in love with the local beauty of the natural springs in the area and the décor of the restaurant reflects our love of cave diving, hiking and the historic significance of the town. From our outdoor patio with a river rock fireplace and boathouse, to our indoor restaurant and Springhouse Tavern, you will love the restaurants decor, a celebration of the great outdoors!

Manager

Our General Manager, Lynn comes to us with 30 years restaurant experience.  She has worked for Shula's steak house, BJ Restaurant and Brew house and Ruby Tuesdays.   The menu has been created using the very best, freshest ingredients for all of her signature entrees. Our service staff are professionally trained and Carol guarantees that each guest  will have the perfect dining experience!
