Established in 2019.

With our soft launch beginning in August of 2019, Delaney’s Tavern has blossomed into SoDo’s Newest American Tavern! We look forward to seeing you at our beautiful, new establishment, and feel free to call ahead with any requests.

Several years ago, a local orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Tom Winters, and his wife, Dr. Becky Moroose, were enjoying dinner and drinks with friends at one of their favorite restaurants, when concurrently they shared an epiphany, "Wouldn’t it be great to create a Cheers-style restaurant and bar for family, friends, locals, and visitors to Orlando?" asked Becky... and Tom agreed! As the managing member of a real-estate partnership with holdings across from Orlando Health, Tom had deep insight into the Downtown South District, and knew a restaurant and bar was much needed for the area. Through personal contacts, Tom partnered with Greg Allowe, a long-time hotelier and restaurateur who specializes in independent, boutique properties,and over the course of many months of brainstorming and fine tuning, Delaney’s Tavern was born.
