Blue Collar is a small restaurant located in the historic MiMo district of Miami; a casual neighborhood spot serving from-scratch food for people that like to eat. Blue Collar offers a daily rotation of braised dishes, parmesans, ribs and an unprecedented variety of vegetables. Blue Collar is where you go for a home cooked meal when you're far away from home; settling into a warm plate of shrimp & grits or tearing through its celebrity namesake sandwich, The Corben, with braised brisket, latkes and 'meat juice,' it is the restaurant's goal to make guests feel like a close friend.

History

Established in 2012.

We opened in January 2012. Over the years we have been fortunate to have gained a loyal following of regulars and have even won some awards and accolades. Because of our amazing guests, we were fortunate enough to open another restaurant Mignonette in 2014. Our goal is to provide a welcoming atmosphere with delicious food so we may turn first timers into regulars

I am a local Miami boy who went to nmb and fsu   I was the chef at chef Allen's for a few years moved to NYC for work and came back home to ole blue collar. It's thetyoe of place I always wanted to eat at but could never find. Enjoy
