Avant -Garde Salon & Spa is located in the heart of Coral Gables, Miami, on Miracle Mile, close to Coconut Grove, and Brickell . We are in business since 1976 . The salon was totally remodeled in 2013 and under a new French and Argentinian management since 2010 . Avant-Garde Salon and Spa became a platinum Greathlengths Hair extensions certified Salon since 2014 as well as a L`oreal exclusive Salon in 2015 .Avant-Garde Salon and Spa was elected Best hair salon in Miami by Allure Magazine as well as top salon Miami by the New times Magazine . We are We are a Kerastase and Oribe Salon .

Marcelo Martinez is a Master stylist In Avant-Garde salon and spa , Miami, Coral Gables, specialized in Greatlengths Hair Extensions, Balayage, Blondes, Make Over, Color Correction , Ombre, Creative and dimensional color.Shears, clippers and razors are his favorite tools to create diverse styles from long layered natural flowing to short precision hair Cut .He knows a vast selection of products and technics to give the perfect advice and look to any kind of hair and extensions He likes to leave a mark in people`s life using his passion and knowledge as tools to help people improve their image ,self esteem and confidence.Marcelo has been a hairstylist for more than 20 years . Exposed to the Elite of the Beauty industry by coming from a family of hairstylist.He joined Avant-Garde Salon and Spa team in 2012, and became a perfect duo with his wife Christine Vatin  , Customer service, management and marketing  specialist owner of Avant-garde since 2010.
