Established in 1995.

The Abbey Brewing company is Miami Beach's oldest and only brew Pub. In addition to our own hand crafted beers, we have an extensive cocktail list, over 150 Bourbons, dozens of Mezcals, Tequilas, Etc. The Abbey is open every day from 1PM-5AM Monday-Saturday, and Noon till 5AM on Sunday.

In the mid 1980's I stared home brewing, and it became a passion. I left my corporate job after 7 years, in the quest  of opening up a brew pub. It took over 2 years, and I finally found my spot. The spot formally known as "The Knotty Pine" was a bar on Miami Beach, that had been operating since 1933. The Knotty Pine was a diamond in the rough, that I knew with a little TLC, I could polish. The bar was run down, with two taps, and several bottles of basic Macro Brewed Beers. I gutted the bar and brought it back to life with my own handcrafted beers, and a brand new interior, that resembles a European Pub. The Abbey has been a mainstay on Miami Beach for 22 years, we have grown a bit, doubling the size, adding a huge variety of fine spirits, and cocktails, tons more local craft beers, but the vibe has remained the same.
