Our story begins in 2014, when Founder Mariela Reyes left her position of 20+ years to open the doors of A-Mari-Mix, Fresh Mex Fusion- a concept based on authentic Mexican food with Cuban flare, incorporating homemade seasonal ice cream and cocktails. Driven by a passion for cooking quality food, and a shortage of authentic Mexican flavor in the South West Miami-Dade area, Mariela sought out to provide guests with an innovative concept that consistently puts out a tasteful take on classic items. With the help of daughter and Front of House manager, Vanessa Perez, the mother-daughter dynamic duo has created an environment that feels like home with a menu that's nostalgic and nothing short of freshness and flavor.
