Eat Well. No Compromises. Real food is born of goodness. It's good to source fresh ingredients locally, sustainably, and ethically. It's good to create chef-crafted meals that are as nutritious and delicious as they are wholesome. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, or a straight-up carnivore, we have a plate that you're going to feel good about eating. Oh yeah, it's also going to be delicious. And it's not going to break the bank. We're about real food and nixing compromises you have to make to eat that way. If you're into the power of real food and being good to the world that made it, then we're a place you're going to like. Welcome to our table.

History

Established in 2011.

We opened our first restaurant in Del Mar in September of 2011. The inspiration for Urban Plates came from our desire to connect real people and real food with memorable experiences, We are committed to serving fresh, high-quality, chef-inspired meals made from scratch, delivered in a warm and inviting environment. We act as your chef advocates to ensure the finest quality ingredients for the price are on your plate. Meals are customizable and can be enjoyed in the comfort of our restaurant, as well as taken home or enjoyed at the office. We also offer the same high quality meals for any occasion through our catering program.
