History

Established in 1989.

When the beloved The Fish Market Restaurants of Northern California expanded to the downtown San Diego waterfront they had a vision of elevating the freshest seafood in a new way. And so, Top of the Market was born. Truly sitting “on top of” The Fish Market, the new concept gives guests the chance to enjoy an expanded wine list, exhibition-style cooking and distinctive dishes in an intimate setting designed to turn special occasions into lifelong memories.
