History

Established in 1981.

Originally it was opened for its kitchen space to feed the rapidly growing Catering Business. Realizing there was a void in restaurants offering great, 'gourmet' barbecue fare, it was decided Tulsa Rib Company would fill that space with the restaurant. Ironically, within a few short years that "gourmet barbecue menu" began to over take their original fine cuisine catering menus.

As one of the original owners, Steve was already a seasoned restaurant manager with extensive experience in both kitchen and floor management.  Prior to opening up Tulsa Rib Company, Steve had worked in nearly every style of restaurant from IHOP to the Original Ritz Restaurant in Newport Beach.
