History

Established in 2011.

The Misfit, at home in the historic 1929 Clock Tower building in downtown Santa Monica, CA, is a high energy farm to table restaurant and bar from the folks who own Ingo's Tasty Diner in Santa Monica, as well as LGO Café, The Luggage Room and The Otis Bar in Pasadena. The iconic space is only steps away from the beach and Third Street Promenade.Proper attired required. Children under 13 welcome before 5 pm. PG-13 environment thereafter. The Misfit reprises a "back to the bar" ideal of casual destination dining, serving signature cocktails and accessible comfort food intended to be enjoyed on a daily basis. Our chefs take trips twice a week to one of the country's leading farmers markets to ensure a large percentage of the menu is dedicated to the offerings of local growers and producers. Our happy hour, which was named one of the best in LA by the Los Angeles Times and Eater LA, is available every day until 6 pm.
