History
Established in 1984.
Since 1984, The Great Greek (greatgreek.com) in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles has enthusiastically served the public and dramatically helped change Ventura Boulevard's somnolence into the coveted restaurant row of today. Its menu, service and energetic character evolved to herald it as the premiere Greek restaurant in Los Angeles, winning the love of customers, staff, reporters and commentators, and more unsolicited awards than any Greek restaurant in Southern California. This long-standing, well-known treasure is a favorite of Southern California locals, out-of-state customers, and tourists alike. The Great Greek has appeared in wide-ranging media, including films and TV productions such as NCIS: Los Angeles.
