The Eveleigh

About the Business

Specialties

Eveleigh's food philosophy is a simple one that revolves around letting the food speak for itself. With our produce, we harness the best the area has to offer. We consciously source ingredients from here and abroad that have sustainable and free-range origins. The style of food draws on inspiration from southern Europe, with hints of California in a rustic, yet clean approach. Our menu is dictated by the season and around the availability of local and seasonal ingredients with a focus on simplicity and all in-house production.

History

Established in 2010.

Built in 1923, originally a residence during Sunset's orchard era, the historic structure has been reinvented into a welcoming rustic retreat. The space evokes a comfortable and relaxed feel filled with timeless character, recycled materials and repurposed design elements. As you are lead from the enchanting front garden, the reclaimed Douglas Fir floorboards salvaged from a century-old church seamlessly transition onto the back patio where the bar is highlighted by a stunning city-view back drop. The picturesque country garden setting is adorned with rough hewn picnic-style dining tables, tufted banquets, reclaimed Oak panels, lime and olive trees, and a flanking herb and vegetable garden.
