At The Empanada Maker, we offer more than 22 unique varieties of delicious gourmet empanadas - all baked fresh throughout the day. Our "Originals" are more South American-inspired, while our "Specialty" empanadas feature our own twist on different popular flavors from around the globe. We have 4 different breakfast options and AMAZING dessert empanadas as well. To accompany your empanadas, you've got to try a few of our amazing side dishes and homemade dipping sauces. In addition, we offer fresh-made salads and delicious soups made from scratch. We LOVE to cater for special events, corporate meetings, the "BIG GAME", wedding receptions, birthday parties and more! History

Established in 2013.

We are a brand new "quick service" restaurant concept for Orange County. Our goal is to expand and grow into several locations, but for now we are working to perfect the first one! :) Our very first retail store is located in Mission Viejo, just one block east of the 5 freeway at the La Paz exit, directly across the street from Mission Viejo High School. Look for us next to Starbucks, in the Wells Fargo/Taco Bell shopping center.

While spending a few years living in South America as a teenager, I fell in love with the ever-famous empanada...such a perfectly delicious hand-held snack.  I couldn't wait to come home and share my newly-found favorite food with all of my friends and family!For the past 13 years, I've been working in Real Estate, here locally in Mission Viejo. I grew up here in South Orange County and attended El Toro High School. I worked in the restaurant industry thru most of my high school and college years, and even after as I studied to obtain my Real Estate license.  My dream has always been to be able to open up my own restaurant, and a few years ago I decided it was time to take the chance and make it happen. I wanted to stay within the same community I know and grew up in, and to be able to share awesome food with awesome people. We strive to raise the bar on the customer service experience...and have fun while doing it! I look forward to seeing you at our store very soon! :)Cameron
