The Cellar is your neighborhood cheese shop + wine bar + kitchen located in the heart of downtown, San Clemente. We serve breakfast, lunch, happy hour and great dinners. We specialize in wine flights & cheese boards. The Cellar also offers a Bubbly bar featuring champagne by the glass. Live music is featured every night and our weekend piano bar draws a crowd. Our full service coffee bar is open early at 7am featuring house made almond milk, oat milk and organic clover dairy. Our pastry chef packs the front case with fresh baked goodies including our stellar chocolate chip cookie. She also makes mean desserts that can be enjoyed anytime of the day. Our unique space is the result of Green Design. Old French oak barrels line the face of the bar. The recycled wine coolers were refaced with 100 year old barn wood. The two large meeting tables in the center of the space were hand crafted with the same wood. Salvaged window frames from Cooper Unions Science building in New York City were re-fashioned into mirrors and hang high above the booth seating. Recycled wine bottles are used through out the space adding unique detail. Custom concrete work finishes off the space making it the perfect, comfortable destination to meet friends, celebrate a special occasion or lounge after a hard day of work or play. Established in 2008.

The Cellar began as a vision of local girls who wanted to create a neighborhood meeting place to showcase local musicians, fine wines & cheese, seasonal produce, artists, and artisans.

Manager

Andrew has mastered every aspect of our business and is here to welcome you and yours when you step through the door. He leads our talented team in coffee, mixology, cheese mongering, and lends support to our fantastic kitchen.  On his time off he enjoys flying with his designer wife Kylie while sipping a nice cappuccino of course.
