An immersive dining experience, The Cauldron Spirits and Brews, is a uniquely themed gastro grub that features French-casual bites with a wicked twist, local craft beer, themed cocktails and a wine from various regions in California. Located in the heart of Buena Park's Entertainment Corridor - directly across from Knott's Berry Farm, the restaurant and lounge is the perfect addition to the fast emerging food scene in Orange County.

Executive Chef and former Creative Director for Knott's Berry Farm, Lara Hanneman, is the mastermind behind this original French-inspired, witchy themed tavern.

Business Owner

Lara Hanneman wanted to own a bar and restaurant since she was a kid. Themed environments are what she has done successfully for decades, and entertaining is a great passion of hers. Creating an environment that people would feel comfortable in, (gather with friends, family and coworkers) was the main goal. The 17th century witch-theme came from what she finds cozy and familiar. From there, a small, European tavern filled with eclectic antiquities and inviting dim lighting was conjured. The witch theme was an added twist that made it more fun and a little odd, and frankly, more her.
