The Basement: A Live Escape Room Experience opened for business with its flagship room in October 2014. Since then, it has grown to be a global industry leader and a national brand with locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Kansas City.

Kayden R.

Business Owner

Kayden Ressel, a retired commercial actor and web developer grew up in the Seattle area and moved to Los Angeles in 2009. He cut his teeth in the haunt industry working as a performer for Universal Studios Hollywood Horror Nights and the LA Haunted Hayride. Today, with his consulting agency Nedyak Designs, Kayden creates immersive experiences for big brands like Google, American Express, and Verizon to showcase their products and services in unique and exciting ways.
