In small rural Irish communities, the village grocer or even blacksmith would often double as the local pub. Customers stopped in to enjoy pints of Guinness and often forgot what they came in for as the shopkeeper shared the country's traditional warm hospitality. Here at The Auld Dubliner, we're keeping that spirit alive through our Irish-imported pub that's filled with laughter, the sound of clinking mugs, and drifting aromas of classic Irish dishes and California favorites. With daily specials and live music every night, there's always a reason to gather here and experience the warm feeling of an intimate Irish village pub right here in Long Beach.

History

Established in 2003.

The Auld Dubliner was imported from Ireland to recreate a small village Pub in rural Ireland. Each piece was handcrafted by local artisans in Dublin and reassembled here. Our owners David Copley and Eric Johnson hail from Limerick in Ireland and from Long Beach respectively. We have attempted to become to the Long Beach community what the local pub is for people in the west coast of Ireland. A Public House. A place to meet your friends, have great conversations, enjoy quality food and beverages and listen to quality entertainment. We think we have achieved our goal. Only you can be the judge of this. Our customers are the most important element of this Pub. Come see for yourself.
