About the Business

Specialties

We offer a California twist on modern Mediterranean food. We are proud to only use flavorful, fresh and healthy ingredients, all dishes are made daily in-house. Our breads are delivered fresh from local artisan bakeries and our produce is picked by hand each morning in the LA produce markets. We think that you'll taste the difference in every bite. The rich taste is inspired by Mediterranean, German, Spanish, and Californian Flavors: Döner Kebab, Sweet Potato Fries, Falafel, Salads, Wraps and Sandwiches. Try our Street Cart Fries and Döquitos...they're amazing! Full Bar with Artisan Cocktails including house-aged and infused liquors. Fantastic "Not UnHappy Hour" Monday thru Friday 4pm to 6pm and late night food until 1am on Friday and Saturday

History

Established in 2008.

Spitz founders Bryce Rademan and Robert Wicklund began laying he groundwork for their hip eatery while attending Occidental College. Spitz, the first European-style Doner Kebab restaurant in L.A., raised the bar on all upscale quick-service eateries. They were determined to insure that the food quality, ambiance and customer service would never be sacrificed. That means nearly everything, from the meals to the sauces, are made daily in-house. The air is alive with music, art, and revelry. Spitz's bond with their customers is genuine and sincere. All produce is picked by hand each morning in the LA produce markets, & breads are delivered fresh from local artisan bakeries. Spitz proudly supports California's breweries and vineries, and serves local craft beers and wine. Our expert mixologists have crafted a special selection of seasonal cocktails. *Spitz's Döner Kebab Was Named "Best Sandwich in LA" by LA Weekly *Named "Best Healthy Fast Food in LA" *"Best French Fries Anywhere"
