History

Established in 2016.

Twelve years ago, Teodoro Rodriguez-Diaz Jr. took Jennifer Feltham on a trip to his hometown in San Luis Rio Colorado- just to eat tacos. Despite the many types of Mexican food available in his new home, Los Angeles- he still craved the simple pleasures of the place he grew up- the Sonoran desert. The smell of mesquite charcoal, delicate, fresh, handmade tortillas de harina, grilled cebollitas, and norteño music on the radio.

I serve tacos in the style of my hometown, San Luis Rio Colorado- which is in the state of Sonora, Mexico. We make flour tortillas fresh daily. We use flour that I bring from Sonora myself- to make sure we can bring you the best tasting tortillas possible. We grill over mesquite charcoal, to impart the smell and flavor of my childhood into the food we serve. We make small burritos de guisado called "chivichangas" according to my mother's recipe. Our menu is simple, but flavorful- and we hope you enjoy!
