The East Bay's Best BBQ & Catering! The Slow Hand Way... We slowly smoke our meats over oak logs, this is our spice, seasoning the meat through to each bite and giving it that true smoke taste and aroma. It s what great BBQ is all about. We make our sauces from scratch (although we feel you don t really need sauce). Our food is served family style on a tray of butcher paper, grab a fork and dig in or use the plates provided on the table if you d rather enjoy the goodness all to yourself.

History

Established in 2012.

Family owned and operated, Slow Hand began as a mobile-based business and grew to a brick-and-mortar. We understand what great bbq is all about, and take the time to do it right. All of our food is made with the finest ingredients available, from our top-notch meats to our fresh veggies and sides. We appreciate the great following we have developed in such a short time, and look forward to serving you well into the future.

Dan began smoking meats for fun years ago, and quickly realized he was somewhat of a magician at it. Once Slow Hand got a foot in the farmers markets and in festivals, people couldn't get enough of his food. It wasn't long before many folks started asking when he would open a restaurant. In July of 2012, Dan and his wife joined forces with his father and sister to launch a family-owned bbq restaurant. Now as Pit Master at Slow Hand, Dan works hard to serve the best bbq around.
