Owner Mike Simms stumbled upon the location for Simmzy's and immediately realized the vacant spot was meant for burgers and beer. The restaurant has since been dubbed a "happy accident," or moment of serendipity. Now with six locations, Simmzy's proudly serves an entirely handmade menu. This restaurant and gastropub has burgers, wings, tacos, salads, sandwiches, fries, and more! Our restaurant owns its own brewery, which resides in the Burbank location, and have plenty of handcrafted beers made to pair perfectly with each item on our menu. Simmzy's is well-connected to other local breweries and wineries as well, and we have rotating beers on tap from only the best of the best! Simmzy's set out to make every location we reside in feel like home, and we treat every customer like family. We're kid-friendly, dinner date-approved, and every local's go-to. In addition, Simmzy's gives back to every community we're a part of, actively participating in philanthropic efforts, donations, and fundraisers. "Whether it's teaching servers about new styles of beer, encouraging cooks to use new techniques, or honing his own palate with an Introductory Sommelier Certificate, Mike is a firm believer in empowerment through education. In the same vein, Mike prides himself on promoting from within (a current GM started off as a server, and a one-time dishwasher now boasts the title of executive chef), and truly believes in putting people first.When he's not at Simmzy's, Mike can be found surfing in Manhattan Beach, spending time with his wife and daughters, or planning his next aerial flight over California's wine regions."
