From The Selland Family (The Kitchen, Ella Dining Room and Bar, OBO’ Italian Table & Bar), Selland’s Market Café offers high-quality, handcrafted foods – entrées, sides, sandwiches, salads, soups, and pizzas – as well as a full-service bakery and a wine shop, in the heart of East Sacramento, El Dorado Hills and with a third new location at Broadway Sacramento. The food is delicious, the wine is flowing, and the vibe is convivial and buzzing, like any great neighborhood spot should be. Our family has been running restaurants in Sacramento for 30 years, and we are committed to the community and to the principles of Farm-to-Fork cuisine. Many of our ingredients are sourced locally and are always of the highest quality. We love food.

History

Established in 2001.

For over 30 years, Selland Family Restaurants has been the Sacramento region’s premier farm-to-fork focused and family-owned restaurant group. With four highly acclaimed restaurant concepts and six locations, Selland Family Restaurants is owned and operated by the Selland Family: Randall Selland, Nancy Zimmer, Tamera Baker, and Josh Nelson. Our family of restaurants includes the venerable institution The Kitchen Restaurant, downtown Sacramento hot-spot Ella Dining Room and Bar, three Selland’s Market Café locations, and our newest concept OBO’ Italian Table & Bar.

Chef and Owner Randall Selland runs Selland's, Ella Dining Room and Bar, The Kitchen, and OBO' Italian Table and Bar with his family - wife and fellow chef Nancy Zimmer and grown children Josh and Tamera.  They have been providing hand-crafted, local, high-end foods at their restaurants in the Sacramento area for over 30 years and are leaders in the region's Farm to Fork movement.
