History

Established in 2015.

Located at The Marina Del Rey Hotel, SALT Restaurant & Bar opened in early 2015 as part of the 25-million dollar renovation of this waterfront hotel. Originally opened in 1964, the new Marina Del Rey Hotel was unveiled just as the Marina celebrated its 50th anniversary. SALT, the hotel's on-the-water, indoor-outdoor restaurant, features seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmer's markets to create a classic Californian dining experience. Here, restaurant guests enjoy contemporary favorites with a seasonal twist by Executive Chef Peter Coenen. In addition to this full-service restaurant, the new 164-room Marina Del Rey Hotel boasts 4-star amenities, including 24-hour room service, concierge assistance, a pool and sundeck with stunning marina views, and an outdoor wedding venue.
