Come see for yourself what fine Middle Eastern dining is all about. At Sahara you'll receive the freshest meal that is sure to leave you savoring the flavor of our authentic dishes. We serve all natural, no hormones and in-house prepared beef and chicken shawarma. Signature dishes include ground beef or chicken kabobs, chicken tikka, falafel, and appetizers like hummus, tabbouleh and diced cucumber salad. We have large portions of fresh Greek salad, Sahara salad and grilled chicken salad round out our menu. Please ask how we can cater your next event or office lunch. Established in 2011.

Joe Salem opened Sahara Taste of the MIddle East after years of experience in the food and catering industry. Joe wanted to offer a taste of the Middle East that isn't often experienced in the United States. His quality and care in preparing the food is second to none.

Joe's passion and love for food has not stopped since his graduation from Mesa College's culinary program 30 years ago. He became famous in a little deli inside a supermarket downtown, often creating lines out the door with those hoping to taste his food. He takes great pride in preparing the food using natural and hormone and chemical free meats and poultry.
