In a time when people are more disconnected from their food than ever, our locally sourced plant-based cuisine gives people the comforting feeling they're used to while gently challenging their perception of food. We offer organic, seasonally inspired dishes that are sure to delight your taste buds. Whether you join us for vegan brunch or pick up an order of buffalo cauliflower, you'll see that we're redefining what farm-to-table dining is all about. Try one of our own Sage Brews- Craft Beer and Kombucha brewed right here in Echo Park's first brewpub/bar, named "Table 16," located right next door. Try a true farm-to-glass experience!

History

Established in 2009.

Sage Vegan Bistro and Brewery began as a result of Chef Mollie Engelhart's vision of providing sustainable organic food to the world without sacrificing the flavor and familiarity foods most omnivores grew up with. Sage has grown from a single, small restaurant in Echo Park to include three locations across greater Los Angeles. In 2017 the Sage team opened Echo Park's first brewpub. The brewery has expanded to serve Sage Brews not only Sage restaurants, but is now distributed throughout Southern California.
