Free-Trade coffee beans from award-winning artisan roasters, Verve Coffee Roasters of Santa Cruz. Organic loose-leaf teas from San Jose's Satori Teas, and Teance of Berkeley. Pastries, Croissants, and savory Pork Buns delivered fresh each morning. Breakfast Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads, Yogurt Parfaits, and fresh Fruit Cups prepared by Zanotto's own Downtown Deli. Bento boxes and Hawaiian Musubi prepared by Tengu Sushi. And Smoothies and Frappes prepared to order!

History

Established in 2009.

People have been "fueling up" on the corner of N. 5th and Jackson for years -- first at the Mobil gas station, and now at the coffee and tea shop. The building itself dates to 1935, and has gone through a two-and-a-half year restoration and conversion. Seismic retrofit, all new facilities, within this historic building -- topped with a solar PV system completes the transformation. The corner was purchased in the late 1940's, as the Murotsune family was being released from internment camp. Roy and his two brothers ran the corner gas/automotive service station - while his two sisters and another brother ran a diner next door. During the 60's, his brothers left to open shops of their own, and Roy operated the corner station until his retirement in 1990. Roy's family and grandchildren now run Roy's Station.
