Our extensive wine list features hundreds of imported Italian wines as well as spectacular Sonoma wines hand selected to complement your meal. You can also enjoy hand-crafted delicious cocktail from our full bar. The Risibisi experience aims to creatively reinvent traditional dishes from all regions of Italy, in a lighter more contemporary style. History

Established in 2006.

Risibisi was opened in downtown Petaluma in 2006 by Marco Palmieri and son Chase Palmieri, natives of Trieste, Italy on the Adriatic Sea. Risibisi is not just another restaurant, it is the epitome of Italian hospitality. From the moment you arrive, you'll discover what makes it so special - an atmosphere where guests are always greeted and treated warmly. Our goal here at Risibisi is to try and get as close to the Petaluma community and all of the local farms as possible. The "Slow Food" movement is thriving in Sonoma County and Petaluma is at the center of it all. "Slow Food" is the idea that a community can support each other by eating, drinking, growing, and cooking locally. Petaluma has some of the best farms in the country, and as part of that community, we consider it our responsibility to bring all the amazing products from our local farm to your plate.

Business Owner

Marco Palmieri comes from beautiful Trieste on the border of Northern Italy and Slovenia. Marco was raised with an appetite for entrepreneurship and began Risibisi Restaurant after many years of experience in the restaurant business. He was bored with many of the heavy, traditional Italian dishes that permeated the Italian-American dining experience. He wanted to create a menu that showcased local ingredients, healthy food, and creative Italian flavor. Risibisi has become a home away from home for Marco and he prides himself on welcoming you into his family.
