Pizza Antica calls upon a bounty of local farmers and ranchers,meat curers, cheese producers, and bakers to supply them with top-quality ingredients used to create original, handcrafted recipes. From pristine, thin-crust pizzas, to savory meat and fish entrees, to decadent desserts, Pizza Antica has something to please any palate.

History

Established in 2003.

Imagine the centuries-old traditions of Italian cooking combined with the abundance of quality fresh produce and artisan ingredients found in California and you have Pizza Antica, a unique style of pizzeria in a class of its own. Bacchus Management Group, the team behind Michelin-starred Spruce in San Francisco and The Village Pub in Woodside, brought this unique restaurant concept to the San Francisco Bay Area with the opening their first Pizza Antica in San Jose's Santana Row. "We wanted the restaurant to evoke the feeling of eating in a long-established pizzeria in Italy. From the interior design of the restaurants, to the friendly and casual local-neighborhood ambience, to the outstanding cuisine," says Brannin Beal, "We have a truly unique vision of what we want to deliver." Subsequently, they opened locations in Lafayette, Mill Valley, and Santa Monica.

As Partner and Director of Operations for Bacchus Management Group, Brannin Beal is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. A veteran of the Bay Area dining scene, Beal draws upon an extensive history of culinary and hospitality service management experience to create and run a highly successful group of restaurants.
