Peter's Gourmade Grill specializes in homemade food with a gourmet twist! This is where the word "gourmade" comes from. Everything Peter, Chef/Owner, creates is simple and delicious. Where else can you get exactly what you see in the pictures on your plate? Nowhere. We have created a menu full of flavor and originality that is second to none. Our uniqueness separates us from the others. Yes, we have burgers, fries and sandwiches but what we don't do is give you a burger that is as flat as a piece of paper. Or a chicken sandwich that tastes rubbery and plain. We give you Angus Beef Burgers...so juicy they melt in your melt. And a Basil Chicken Sandwich that will make your taste buds dance. Just think: a tender marinated chicken breast grilled to order, inside toasted sourdough bread with a parmesan cheese crust and a basil infused mayo. Come in and let us show you what good food really tastes like.

History

Established in 2010.

Peter pretty much dreamed of having his own place as long as I can remember. He has talked about it relentlessly and finally one day he came home and said "I found this really fantastic little spot...at a Valero in Tustin." Needless to say I was a little skeptical. When I first saw the place I was a lot skeptical. However, I trusted Peter's vision and I knew his food would speak for itself. So fast forward through all of the business license meetings, the wrong filing of one document for another, the endless phone calls and budgetary conversations we had and alas: it was ours. We can start cleaning. And cleaning we did. Peter worked on the Grill for weeks on end. Scrubbing, going as far as Lake Arrowhead to make sure we had the right equipment, creating the perfect menu...and now, here we are. His first restaurant. His dream that may have seemed far off has been realized. It's a very short history but I like to think it's history in the making.

Business Owner

Peter has been a professional Chef for close to ten years now. He graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena in, CA in 2001. A very prestigious culinary school. He has worked with top chefs in the business, some of which have gone on to open five star restaurants. He has a passion and flare for food that is unmatched. Working in places like the Ritz-Carlton and the "Studio" at the Montage under Chef James Boyce in Laguna Beach, have given him a perfectionist vibe to his food; working in sports bars and fast food restaurants have given him the quickness to his skills. Although he has created food for many successful restaurants, he has yet to have one he calls his own. Now his name is on the front door and his food speaks for itself.
