About the Business

Specialties

Performance Plus Tire & Automotive Superstore is a full service dealer specializing in tires, wheels, and automotive service. We sell all major brand tires for passenger, light truck, and off road applications, and carry over 100 brands of custom wheels and rims. We are also one of the world's largest marketers of vintage and collector car tires. We perform mounting, wheel balancing, tire rotations, and flat repairs. Our ASE certified service department offers wheel alignments, brake service, front end service, oil changes, and preventative maintenance. We have an in-house polishing shop for aluminum, stainless steel, and brass materials.

History

Established in 1971.

Our family-owned business was founded in 1971, and we've since grown into one of the largest tire dealers in Southern California. Our first store ("The Big House of Chrome") was opened in Inglewood, and through our history, we've operated ten retail stores and three wholesale warehouses. Today, we operate one superstore in Long Beach staffed by 40+ team members. Customer service is our number one priority. If we don't care of the customer, someone else will!
