History

Established in 1982.

The legendary Pappy + Harriet's has been delighting locals and travelers alike since 1982, with Santa Maria bbq, live music, dancing and friendly service. There is a long history here. Next door is the original attraction of this tiny burg, the Pioneertown "Mane Street," an assortment of Old-West themed buildings built in part by Roy Rogers in the 1940s, so that he and his cowboy buddies like Gene Autry could have a place near Hollywood to shoot their Westerns and have a good time. Since then, musicians from Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Patti Smith, Paul Cauthen, Orville Peck, The Psychedelic Furs, Phoenix The Zombies Ani Di Franco Lucinda Williams and many many more, have graced the P+H stage. The legendary bar has become and unmissable desert destination with a vibe that can't be matched. P+H continues the tradition of live music, the best barbecue, and good times in memory of Pappy, Harriet, and and all those who enjoy Pioneertown from yesterday and today.
