History

Established in 2003.

Founded by CEO, Alan Fuerstman, Montage Laguna Beach was once the site of a trailer park. In 1939, the first trailerites settled on site. The beach below the property was closed as 'private' to the trailer park residents for over 60 years, until Montage Laguna Beach opened. Alan envisioned opening a resort that would reflect the heritage of the artistic colony, Laguna Beach and be the destination of choice for discerning travelers.
