History

Established in 1987.

Milt started in the dry cleaning business in 1946. Dry cleaning isn't a business for Milt - its a life long passion! That is why, when it comes to the BEST in dry cleaning, laundry and tailoring, nothing beats experience...and no other single cleaner in Southern California has more experience than Milt & Edie's! Our customers' patronage is the reason we're in business, so we have made a commitment to provide our customers with quality work delivered on time...guaranteed!

Business Owner

Michael Shader is co-owner of Milt & Edie's Drycleaners with his wife, Beth.  He had been a partner in the business when it opened in 1988 as Milt & Michael's but left the cleaners in 1994 to pursue other opportunities in Florida while raising a family.Michael and Beth returned to Milt & Edie's in 2014 to assist Milt with operations and production and took over completely upon Milt's passing in 2017.  Managing a full production team, including more than 17 tailors, requires a great deal of logistics and resourcefulness considering the iconic cleaners is open 24 hours a day.Michael heads Milt & Edie's Entertainment Division, an area that is exploding thanks to being located in the center of Burbank's Media District.  Studios, production companies, costumers and independent designers rely on Milt & Edie's because it is open day and night and delivers orders at no extra charge to the TMZ (30-Mile Zone).  Michael expects sustained growth in their wardrobe-oriented business.
