About the Business

History

Established in 1959.

The Millbrae Pancake House opened its doors on Mother's Day back in 1959. Eisenhower was president and El Camino Real was just a 2 lane highway. Two sisters started out in a time where women were not seen in the workplace. They sold coffee for 10 cents and pancakes for 45 cents. The past 62 years have been good ones. They owe their continual success to their outstanding employees and loyal customers over the years. We are proud to say that the MIllbrae Pancake house is still owned and operated by the same family. We hope to continue serving the community with a commitment to good food, good service and good old-fashioned family tradition! Thank you.
