We know our delicious soul food nourishes the community inside and out, so we only choose quality ingredients that resonate with what we're truly about: Good eats and good value for good people. History

Established in 2008.

Entrepreneurship has been the vehicle for Deanna Sison to fulfill her true passion for culture and hospitality. As a minority, small business owner,each venture, although different conceptually, has shared a commonality across her brands of building, nourishing and empowering her neighborhoods. No matter the project at hand, Deanna's heart's desire is to build roots in her community by creating spaces to gather - through good food, great service and warm surroundings at affordable prices. In 2006, Deanna co-founded and launched Farmerbrown, San Francisco Soul Food favorite, A few years later (2008), she opened up the lovable lunch off-shoot, Little Skillet, in the San Francisco district of SOMA. Little Skillet's spin on the classic combination of Chicken and Waffles has gained a solid fan base 10 years strong and growing.
