Most recently we have developed a new Happy Hour offering small plates, cheap bites and of course margaritas and cervezas in our cantina. We have also become a popular destination for straight and gay weddings and rehearsal dinners. We always love a fiesta! Since 1958 the Delgado family has strived to deliver the best experience we can to our guests at any Las Casuelas restaurant. Nuevas for over 40 years has been a family tradition not only for ours but yours. Our menu features classic Mexican dishes established in the mid twentieth century. The Delgado family welcomes you to try their family recipes and new creations while enjoying their award winning atmosphere, cuisine, patio and of course margaritas. There are seven private dining rooms to accommodate groups large and small. Come and experience the spirit of Mexico in the heart of the Palm Springs Valley. Reservations are recommended.

History

Established in 1973.

The lifelong dream of founders Mary and Florencio Delgado, to open the first Hacienda Style Mexican Dinner House in America was realized with the 1973 opening of Las Casuelas Nuevas in Rancho Mirage. The couple had already established their first restaurant, a simple Mexican cafe on North Palm Canyon in Palm Springs in 1958 and expanded to create a luxury experience combined with classic Mexican cuisine. In the early 1980s the Delgado family expanded the restaurant to create a beautiful tree covered patio reminiscent of the colonial architecture in Mexico. Our menu is traditional and features recipes from it's original conception in the mid twentieth century. Today, the family still runs and operates the business. We are hands on and everyday take steps to improve and modernize ourselves. We love hearing the good and the bad on Yelp as it helps us listen to our guests and improve on any quality we can.
